Pramati Server Communication Ports and
Protocols
Enterprise networks face risks from unauthorized and malignant users who try to gain
access to the server information in various ways. Application servers allow administrators to
secure some or all communication ports on the server, over which sensitive information
such as credit card numbers, may be transported. Internally, server management services use
both secure and non-secure ports, some of which may be configured.
The following tables and accompanying figures detail the various ports on Pramati Server,
the default values, whether they can be configured, and the protocols used to transport
information. The information here is classified into:
