Pramati Server 3.5 Administration Guide
How does Server Administration Service work
The Admin Service keeps track of other services running on the LAN using a discovery mechanism,
that enables you to manage server configuration from a single administrator host machine.
Starting Server Administration Service
To start the Server Administration Service:
1 Choose Start > Programs > Pramati 4.1 > Server Administration. This displays a screen with
options for either configuring and starting a cluster, or connecting to a running server. If you
select the second option, provide the details for the IP address and the HTTP Port where the
Server Administration Service is running. If you provide the details for where the Console is
running, you will be taken to the Console Home page.
2 Selecting the option for configuring and starting a cluster, and clicking OK displays the login
screen for Server Administration Service. Provide the user name as ‘root’ and password as
‘pramati’ and click ‘Login’. This displays the Server Administration Service screen.
