Pramati Server 3.5 Installation & Configuration Guide
1 Run setup.bat script present in the <install_dir>/services/bin/ directory. This will set
up the necessary environment to install the server as a service.
2 Change directory to <install_dir>/services/j2eeserver/ and run
install_server_default.bat. This will install Pramati Server at node default as a service.
Make sure the default node is created before executing this setup.
> install_server_default.bat
wrapper | Pramati J2eeServer default installed.
To start the service, use the Windows net start command which displays messages as shown
below:
> net start PramatiServerdefault
The Pramati J2eeServer default service is starting....
The Pramati J2eeServer default service was started successfully.
To stop the service, use the Windows net stop command:
>net stop PramatiServerdefault
The Pramati J2eeServer default service is stopping...
The Pramati J2eeServer default service was stopped successfully.
To remove the service permanently:
1 Run the setup.bat script in <install_dir>\services\bin\ directory to set the necessary
environment.
2 Run the remove_server_default.bat script:
> remove_server_defaule.bat
wrapper | Pramati J2eeServer default removed.
Setting up Pramati Server as a Unix Daemon
To setup Pramati Server as a daemon on Unix based machines, execute the shell script ./
pramatiserver.sh. Ensure that you have the following files that are shipped with the distribution:

\bin\license.txt A text file describing the copyrights of the use of the Wrapper Service. Provided by
TanukiSoftware.org.
\bin\libwrapper.so A library file
\bin\Wrapper This is an executable file that is invoked to install the Java application as a service
\bin\wrapper.jar The Java Services Wrapper classes are present in this executable JAR file
\bin\realpath
\j2eeserver\pramatiserv
